The Orthodox Christian Youth Movement (OCYM) is the official youth organization of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church. It was formed in 1933 with the vision of nurturing spiritually grounded, socially responsible, and mission-oriented youth within the Church. From its early beginnings, OCYM has focused on strengthening young people through prayer, study of faith, fellowship, and active service, helping them grow as committed members of the Church and society.
In our parish, the MGOCSM and OCYM work collectively under the banner of OCYM, fostering unity and continuity in spiritual growth from childhood to youth. Together, we strive to encourage active participation in church life, promote Orthodox faith and values, and serve the wider community with compassion and purpose. With enthusiasm, dedication, and faith in God’s guidance, we hope to make a meaningful difference in our parish and beyond, walking together as one body in Christ and working towards a stronger, faith-filled future for our community.
